Our Programs
The Two Four Club is our flagship initiative for the Ryan Callahan Foundation, existing to bring massive, life changing support to families facing pediatric cancer. Named for the number Ryan wore during his NHL career, this club is rooted in strength, compassion, and immediate action.
We've paid entire months of rent and utility bills for families drowning in medical debt. But what sets us apart is our version of innovative crisis support, which goes far beyond the hospital walls.
We respond to each family’s unique needs with creative, customized solutions that restore stability and hope. This includes fully furnishing safe new bedrooms for children in treatment, building backyard play spaces for immune compromised kids, and covering car repairs to ensure safe travel to treatment. But these examples are just the tip of the iceberg.
The Two Four Club steps in when families feel like they’re falling apart — and gives them a reason to believe they’ll make it through.
The Cally’s Crew program provides a Tampa Bay Lightning suite experience for our families during the regular season. During select home games, our foundation uses this VIP experience to bring together families with similar struggles for a sense of community in the isolated world of pediatric cancer.
Cally’s Comforts provides thoughtfully curated comfort bags filled with personal care essentials like cozy blankets, socks, phone chargers, puzzle books, and other comforting items to support families during unexpected hospital stays. These bags offer both practical relief and emotional comfort when it’s needed most.
Courageously Overcoming Personal Experiences
C.O.P.E. is led by licensed mental health therapist Robin Lutz. It’s a heartfelt program designed to provide emotional support to families at every stage of their journey. Whether facing an initial diagnosis, navigating the prolonged challenges of treatment, processing post-traumatic stress, or enduring the deep pain of loss, this program creates a safe space for healing and connection.
One-on-one sessions are available upon request for families in the midst of their fight, offering personalized care and understanding. In addition, bereavement sessions are held every 4 to 6 weeks, bringing together a remarkable group of parents who support one another through the complex and ongoing process of grief.
Bridging Tony’s Legacy
In partnership with local funeral homes in Florida and New York, we connect families with funeral services. These funeral homes have generously offered to provide guidance to our bereaved families.
This program was developed in Memory of Tony Colton, one of our teens who was taken far to soon by pediatric cancer. Tony’s legacy will live on through this program and ensure that no family will have stress or financial burden of funeral costs for their child.
